Living in Georgia and trying to keep up with Covid-19 spread has not been easy, even though the CDC is located in Atlanta. Some information can be found on the CDC website, which includes the number of tests given by the CDC or the various Departments of Public Health, broken down by districts.
Here in Valdosta, it is the South Health District.
The CDC reports today that the number of cases in Georgia is between 101-200.
The CDC also says that as of today there are 7,038 cases nationwide and 97 deaths. The numbers rise daily.
The CDC is also reporting in the U.S. that 269 cases are travel-related; 276 are from close contact; 6,493 are under investigation, totally 7.038.
